Instead of relying on usernames and passwords stored on corporate databases, Web3 uses public-key cryptography. You use a private key to sign transactions, giving you absolute control over your digital identity, funds, and credentials without a middleman.
3. Smart Contracts
Smart contracts are programs that run on the blockchain. They execute automatically when predefined conditions are met. This allows developers to build decentralized financial protocols, voting mechanisms, and supply chains that run without human intervention or third-party escrow services.
